rolex explorer vs op 39 | hodinkee Rolex explorer review rolex explorer vs op 39 The new 40mm Explorer is definitely on my radar from the new releases (that and the 42mm Ti Yachtmaster). I've been looking at 39mm Mk 2 Explorers for a while but haven't pulled the trigger. I thought I'd make a quick comparison shot to see the differences (new on the left, old on the right).

No. Louis Vuitton date codes are basically general item's production dates. Several items can be produced on the same factory and on the same week. It's quite normal to see several items with the same date code though it doesn't happen frequently. Do All Louis Vuitton Bags Have a Date Code? Not every Louis Vuitton bag has a date code.

The modern Oyster Perpetual 39 is very similar to the 39mm Rolex Explorer. The new 40mm Explorer is definitely on my radar from the new releases (that and the 42mm Ti Yachtmaster). delta bewteen 39mm (214270) explorer vs 39mm OP (114300) black dial. 1. mercedes hand (214270) vs baton hand (114300). from here, left will be the explorer, right will be OP 39. 2. 214270 clasp has easy link and fliplock, as well as "extruded rolex crown". One piece of design that differentiates both larger Explorers (39 and 40mm) is the location of the namesake on the dial. The 39mm had it situated near six o'clock while the new 40mm has it in the same position as the 36mm version, near the top of the dial.
Most of the size options in the 2020 Oyster Perpetual collection have been revamped, while the 39mm model is discontinued altogether – replaced by the new 41mm variant. What's your size? The Rolex OP 31 in Turquoise Blue (left), OP 34 in Bright Blue (center), and OP 36 in Green (right). I think the explorer is much better balanced and proportioned than the OP. While both cases are 39, the explorer has a smaller dial which plays better for the watch as a whole. The OP's dial, on the other hand, is relatively large considering the smaller bezel, which makes the watch wear larger than 39 to my eyes. Today, I find myself torn between the Rolex Explorer and the OP (both in 36mm, the color is yet to be determined). I greatly appreciate their simplicity, yet choosing between the two models proves to be difficult. Comparing Rolex's Explorer and Oyster Perpetual: Dive into the distinctions between the rugged, sporty Explorer and the timeless, elegant Oyster Perpetual.
Does anyone have photos of the OP41 next to the previous generation Explorer 1(39)?
