Then, it develops into a smooth floral, spicy, woodsy, and semi-sweet vanilla scent. Like all classics, some basenotes/fragrantica forum members claim Platinum Egoiste has been reformulated and is a sad version of its former self. I can't comment on original version because I never smelled it, but my bottle from 2017 smells divine.
