Ok, so I've been considering replacing my KAC RAS sets for a while now with Daniel Defense Omega rails, and I would like your opinions. I also considered MOE handguards, but the omega rail is almost as light and much more solid, but also much more expensive. Reasons to switch to Omega Rails: Omega is lighter than KAC RAS Thinner Built in QD .
If you want a Daniel Defense quality and super light quad rail look into their EZ CAR rails. They're non free float and look pretty cool. Unlike the Omega they're a lot cheaper at around 5. I've got an unused one in carbine length that I'm looking to sell right now, I'll give it to you for 0 if you're interested
